We were commissioned by a client to create a Scandinavian style table to suit their large space. Naturally Blackbutt is a very heavy timber so a lot of thought had to be put into the design to ensure the base could handle the weight whilst still providing enough support to handle seasonal wood movement of the top. The table is finished using Osmo hardwax oil in the RAW colour to keep the piece of furniture looking as natural as possible. We can customise this to suit any size, the size below is 2.9m x 1.2m
